(KRON) -- A doctor who works at a wellness center in Gilroy was accused by patients of inappropriate touching and sexual battery, police said Tuesday.
Chiropractor Robert W. Kovacs is facing charges filed by the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office, according to the Gilroy Police Department. Dr. Kovacs treats patients at Gilroy Health and Wellness Center, located at 7888 Wren Avenue.

"Detectives received information from survivors who reported being inappropriately touched by Dr. Kovacs while under his care. The Gilroy Police Department believes there may be additional survivors who have not yet come forward," GPD wrote.
